She is a CPA registered in the State of Ohio. Lori has 20+ years of experience serving the needs of auto/auto parts manufacturers and other industries. She was a Senior Manager at KPMG prior to establishing Kaiser Consulting. She has assisted many companies with the implementation and testing of internal controls including Honda of America Mfg., Inc., Honda Trading, Worthington Industries, and Cardington Yutaka Technologies.

Daniel S. Kaiser

Financial Consultant Dan has over 25 years of financial and operational experience. He held the position of Chief Financial Officer at several companies. Dan has broad experience in the operations of wholesale distribution, retail and manufacturing businesses. He maintains leadership roles while effectively forming teams.

Kathy Baker

Audit Consultant / Financial Consultant Kathy obtained her undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. Kathy began her career at Arthur Anderson in the audit department. Her clients included a wide range of industries. After leaving public accounting she had over fourteen years of progressively responsible and diverse financial experience at the managerial level at various companies. Since joining Kaiser Consulting in 2006 she has been assigned to a variety of accounting and auditing projects. Kathy brings enthusiasm and determination to succeed to all her projects.

Cassie Chun, CPA
Project Manager
Audit Consultant / Financial Consultant Cassie is a C.P.A. certified in the state of Arkansas and has a BS in Accounting from Arkansas State University. She has 20+ years of experience in both public and private accounting. While in public accounting, her work included both internal and external audits of clients in manufacturing, banking and retail. Her private experience includes positions as AVP- Controller and accounting staff. She has extensive experience in internal controls reviews and has been with Kaiser Consulting since April 2007.

Hilary Dodson, CPA

Audit Consultant / Financial Consultant Hilary attended Ohio State University and graduated with a B.S. in Accounting. After graduation, she joined Price Waterhouse Coopers and performed the audits of clients in manufacturing and retail. She was promoted to senior and manager while at PWC. She also served four years as the Controller of Eurotronics, a developer and marketer of electronic translation devices. As controller, Hilary was responsible for establishing and maintaining the company’s internal controls and preparation of the financial statements. Since joining Kaiser Consulting in 2008 she has been assigned to a variety of accounting and audit projects. Hilary is a CPA, registered in New York.

C. Michelle Funge

Audit Consultant / Financial Consultan Michelle attended Ohio State University and graduated with a B.S. in Accounting. Michelle began her career at Arthur Anderson where she spent ten years in the audit department. Her clients spanned many industries, including manufacturing and financial services. After leaving public accounting Michelle became a Senior Financial Analyst at Abbott Laboratories for over five years. While at Abbott she implemented zero-based budgeting and other project improvements. Since joining Kaiser Consulting in 2005 Michelle has been a valuable addition to many audit and accounting projects. Michelle is a CPA, inactive, registered in the state of Ohio.

Deanna I. Gifford
Consultant
Financial Consultan Dee is a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Accounting. She is a CPA in the state of Michigan (inactive). She joined KPMG after earning her degree and worked on a variety of audits including publicly traded companies, not-for- profits and governmental agencies. She has also worked at a financial institute in internal audit and as assistant to the Controller.

Michele Himes

Michele began her career at Deloitte & Touche in the audit department, where she worked on a variety of manufacturing and technology companies. She has also worked in private accounting for over ten years as an accounting manager, financial reporting manager, and controller. Since joining Kaiser Consulting in August 2008, Michele has worked on a variety of accounting and internal control projects. Michele is a CPA in the state of Ohio.

Jennifer Justus

Audit Consultant / Financial Consultant Jennifer attended Ohio University and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration, Accounting. Jennifer began her career with Temple-Inland and served as both accountant and controller in her fifteen years with the company. Since joining Kaiser Consulting in 2008, she has been assigned to numerous Sarbanes-Oxley, J-SOX clients, and other accounting projects primarily at manufacturing companies. Jennifer is an internal control expert and maintains a C-SOXP-Certified Sox Professional Certification.

Caren C. Kruest

IT Project Manager Caren obtained her undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems and Marketing from Miami University. Caren began her career with Deloitte & Touche where she spent over ten years working as an IT Consultant and Manager. Her clients included financial services and manufacturing industries. Since joining Kaiser Consulting in 2008, Caren has been assigned to a wide range of IT projects including Sarbanes-Oxley and other internal control projects. She has over 10 years of experience in leading diverse teams, developing people and managing projects.

Kathleen Lackey

Financial analyst Kathleen obtained her undergraduate degree in business with a major in finance at Miami University. Kathleen began her career at Bank One, Columbus as a Staff Auditor and worked her way to Project Manager and Compliance Officer. She has over 12 years experience in the Financial Services industry including finance, accounting, internal audit and compliance. Since joining Kaiser Consulting in 2008 she has worked on a variety of financial and internal audit projects.

Lisa Messner, CPA

Audit Consultant / Financial Consultant Lisa received her B.S. in Accounting from San Diego State University and became a CPA in the State of California. She began her career with four years at KPMG performing audits of manufacturing, distribution and real estate clients. After KPMG, Lisa joined Digital Storage as the Financial Reporting Manager where she supervised the preparation of financial statements for four subsidiary companies with revenues in excess of $100 million. Lisa has been with Kaiser Consulting since 2007 where she has been on a variety of financial and internal control projects.

Michelle began her career at Arthur Anderson and spent time in both the Audit and Tax Departments. She then worked for Liebert Corporation in the Tax department. Michelle has joined many client service teams since joining Kaiser Consulting in 2005. These have been primarily audit and accounting projects. Michelle is a CPA, registered in Ohio.

Terry Rogers, CPA

Strengths include the ability to understand the key financial drivers of a business, accurately prepare financial statements and clearly communicate financial results to management for informed business decisions. Terry is a CPA and has a BS in Accounting from Bowling Green University. She began her career at KPMG where she worked in banking, manufacturing and a variety of other industries. She has over twenty years in private industry and public accounting. Her vast experience has enabled her to quickly and efficiently solve client problems in her tenure with Kaiser Consulting since 2006.

Jim Sanfrey, CPA

Audit Consultant / Financial Consultant Jim came to Kaiser Consulting after working for Ross Products for over five years. He held the position of Finance Manager, where he was responsible for establishing formal policies and procedures for an effective system of internal controls. In this role he also prepared financial statements, plans, forecasts and updates to management. Jim has also held the position of Financial Analyst and Accounting Analyst during his 15+ years of experience. Jim is a graduate of Ohio University with a BS in Accounting and Business Pre-Law and is an active CPA. He also has extensive computer skills which make him a valuable addition to all client engagements at Kaiser Consulting.

Liz Teed

Financial Consultant Elizabeth obtained her undergraduate degree in Finance at the Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. She has worked extensively in both manufacturing and research. She has held the positions of analyst, Pricing Manager, Finance Manager and Business Analysis Manager. Liz has extensive experience with analyzing financial statements and identifying issues. She has been with Kaiser Consulting since 2004 bringing her expertise to many challenging projects. She has an MBA in finance from Michigan State University and has a CMA Certification.
